In the first quarter of 2022, the top five air travel apps on the Android platform in Chile demonstrated diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here, we provide a detailed analysis of these apps, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.

LATAM Airlines experienced a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting from 13.1K at the end of December and dropping to 6.5K by the end of March. Active users also saw a downward trend, peaking at 45.9K in early January and decreasing to around 36.4K by the end of March.

SKY Airline showed a similar pattern in downloads, with numbers falling from 12.9K at the beginning of the quarter to around 7.7K by the end. Active users fluctuated, starting at 31.7K at the end of December and ending at 27.9K by late March, with some variability in between.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker had relatively stable download figures, with a notable peak of 2.8K in the third week of February. Active users peaked at 8.2K in the same week, following a steady increase from the start of the quarter. Revenue for the app peaked at $496 in late February and remained stable around $476 by the end of March.

LATAM Pass saw modest download numbers, ranging between 523 and 845 per week throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 1.7K at the end of December to 1.5K by the end of March.

Copa Airlines maintained a consistent level of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 491 and 655. Active users showed minimal variation, hovering around 1.5K throughout the quarter.
